Senior Data Engineer Lisbon (Hybrid)

Right now, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join an exciting project in Lisbon.

Your role

• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
• Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries for data processing and analysis
• Design, build and maintain reliable data pipelines
• Develop and manage data transformations using dbt
• Implement robust data modelling practices (e.g. dimensional modelling)
• Ensure data quality, consistency and usability across systems
• Collaborate with product and analytics teams to deliver data products that generate business value
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering processes and architecture
• Work within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem to support data infrastructure and processing
• Support orchestration and scheduling of data workflows (e.g. Airflow)

What we are looking for

Technical profile:

• +5 years of experience in Data Engineering roles
• Strong experience with SQL for data processing and analysis
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformations
• Solid understanding of data modelling concepts (e.g. dimensional modelling)
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow

Soft skills:

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Collaborative and proactive attitude
