Role Overview

The Syniti Administrator supports the technical administration and operational execution of the Syniti platform used for SAP S/4HANA data migration and data governance. This role is focused on platform support, execution of standard administrative tasks, monitoring, and documentation, while progressively building expertise in Syniti tools, SAP data structures, and factory-based migration processes. The role is well-suited for candidates at an early stage of their Syniti or SAP data migration career.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day administration of the Syniti platform across DEV, and PROD environments.

• Assist with user management, including creation of users, role assignments, and access reviews, following defined security standards.

• Monitor batch jobs, data loads, workflows, and interfaces, and report issues to the Syniti Solution Architect.

• Support configuration and execution of data loads, validations, and reconciliations under supervision.

• Assist in maintaining SAP connectivity (RFCs, connectors) and basic troubleshooting of interface issues.

• Execute standard operational tasks such as job restarts, environment checks, and log analysis.

• Maintain and update technical documentation, runbooks, and operating procedures.

• Support mock cutovers, cutover rehearsals, and go-live activities from a platform-readiness perspective.

• Coordinate with Data Migration Functional Leads to ensure Syniti objects and environments are correctly prepared.

• Follow Data Migration Factory standards and procedures, escalating deviations or risks when identified.

Qualifications Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in SAP data migration, data management, or enterprise IT support roles.

• Initial exposure to SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments is an advantage.

• Experience supporting enterprise applications or data platforms in a delivery or support role.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of Syniti platforms (Syniti Knowledge Platform / Syniti One) or strong willingness to learn.

• Foundational knowledge of SAP data concepts and business processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, P2D, EWM).

• Understanding of data migration concepts (extract, transform, load, validation).

• Basic knowledge of relational databases and data structures.

• Working knowledge of SQL (querying tables, basic joins) is desirable.

• Familiarity with SAP data migration tools (Migration Cockpit, LSMW, SAP Data Services) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to data governance or data quality initiatives.

• Experience working in factory-based delivery or shared service models.

• Prior experience supporting SAP implementation or rollout projects.
