Your new role:
You´ll be the first HC responsible for managing and analysing a company's travel and expense processes, ensuring compliance with policies, optimize cost savings, and provide insights to improve travel and expense management.
Main tasks / responsibilities:
Provide detailed reporting on travel and expense activities;
Work with cross-functional teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the travel and expense management process;
Collaborate with Finance, HR, and other departments to streamline the travel and expense process;
Review and audit travel and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance;
Identify and address any policy violations, ensuring corrective actions are taken;
Analyze travel and expense data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost reduction;
Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize travel-related contracts and agreements;
Manage small team of T&E analysts;
Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to travel and expense management;
Provide training and support to employees on the travel and expense reporting system and policies;
Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise;
Troubleshoot system issues and work with IT or the software provider to resolve them;
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the system.
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field;
5-10 years of experience in a similar role;
Experience with travel and expense management systems (e.g., Concur, SAP, Expensify) is highly desirable;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools;
Advanced English;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Experience in vendor negotiation and contract management (nice to have);
Availability to occasional travel may be required for vendor meetings or training sessions.
