Your New Role
Aligned with the company’s strategy of SAP Standards Processes Rollout to all Business Units, we are seeking a SAP Consultant Specialist with expertise in Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) to join the internal SAP I.T. team. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage your in-depth knowledge of SAP best practices, industry standards, and systems expertise to identify the best strategic and long-term solutions to support all subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide business support on ERP SAP S/4HANA – MM and SD modules.
- Interpret business requirements and process improvements, using SAP expertise to propose and/or customize SAP solutions.
- Support end-users, research and resolve problems, collaborating with technical resources as needed.
- Serve as the primary SAP troubleshooting resource, creating functional and technical specifications to escalate issues to programmers or the SAP basis team if necessary.
- Ensure that availability, performance, and capacity service levels are met and maintained.
- Act as an internal SAP consultant, facilitating the use of SAP processes and technology for process improvement across the company.
- Create end-user documentation to support new system implementations, enhancements, and incident management efforts.
- Coordinate the restoration of service activities for any major critical application incidents.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Higher education in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience in similar positions.
- At least one full SAP implementation with expertise in customization related to MM and SD.
- Solid technical and functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA – MM and SD modules.
- High-level understanding of global SAP modules’ functionalities and integration with MM and SD.
- Ability to organize and coordinate activities and projects within established deadlines.
- Reading and understanding of ABAP code is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese; Spanish and French are a plus.
- High level of autonomy and responsibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Team spirit and a high focus on quality and rigor.
- Availability to travel for short periods.
