Your new role:
The Senior Industrial Financial Analyst is responsible for analysing financial data and creating financial models to support decision-making processes for Operations and Supply Chain for P&R International.
You´ll report to the Finance, Operations and Supply Chain Director.
You’ll be an important point of contact for two specific factories; however, I’ll have a wide range of geographies to contact worldwide.
This role involves evaluating financial performance, forecasting future financial performance, preparing reports, and providing insights and recommendations to management for the specified business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and update new products costs;
Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to support cost-saving initiatives;
Costing and Cost Roll: help run the costing of entities/business units on a regular base;
Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis and prepare financial reports to support business decisions;
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, analyse, and review budgets and forecasts;
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
Data Interpretation: Interpret financial data and provide variance analysis;
Performance Monitoring: Monitor financial performance by analysing actual results against budget and forecast;
Market Analysis: Analyse market trends and competitor performance;
Strategic Planning: Assist in the development of strategic plans and long-term financial projections;
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, controlling and industrial cost accounting (mandatory);
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity within Production sites, Operations and Supply Chain, ideally within the MedTech industry;
Technical Skills: Oracle expertise is a nice to have; Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and financial modelling;
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French. Other languages are a plus;
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills;
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
