We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to act as a technical leader within a Test Factory, driving automation strategy, asset development, and continuous improvement.

This role combines hands-on test automation, DevOps practices, and technical leadership, supporting teams in building robust, scalable, and maintainable automated testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Test Strategy

• Act as a technical leader for test automation initiatives
• Coach and mentor junior test automation engineers
• Identify, design, and develop test automation assets to support continuous improvement
• Evaluate the feasibility of test automation for new features and projects

Test Automation & Quality

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases following best practices and standards
• Ensure automated test coverage for:
• APIs
• Frontend applications
• Analyze and resolve defects related to automated tests
• Keep automated tests up to date and executable in operational conditions

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Ensure automated tests are fully integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Create and maintain Jenkins jobs and pipelines
• Work with GitLab, SonarQube, and Nexus within the CI/CD chain
• Contribute to DevOps best practices across the testing lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• 6+ years of experience in test automation
• Strong expertise with Robot Framework
• Experience in automated API and frontend testing
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Python
• GitLab
• Jenkins
• SonarQube
• Nexus

Hybrid Work: 2/3x on-site in Lisbon
