We are looking for a Product Owner (French Speaker) to join us in Porto.

Responsibilities:

• Practice the agile manifesto principles and follow the Scrum guide.
• Meetings with stakeholders (understand the product, the goals, discuss if it makes sense to proceed in this way, if it is viable, talk to the team to also understand their vision, delivery timings, etc ).
• Backlog prioritization.
• Write User Stories.
• Facilitate/participate in key Agile rituals for your Scrum teams (Daily Stand Ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Retrospectives).
• Communicate project status and risks to management on a regular basis.
• Remove impediments for the development team as they come up.
• Speaking the same language as developers and understanding the technical aspect of the project.
• Define Product visions and break it into smaller and incremental deliverables.
• Working with development teams, software architects and business stakeholders to gather requirements, estimates and build a delivery plan.
• Focusing on client needs and continuous product improvement, through post-implementation analysis.
• Knowing the product, its life cycle, increasing value and knowing the business in detail.

Requirements:

• University (or equivalent) qualification in Information Technology or similar scientific field.
• At least three years of experience as a Product Owner in software development or software products.
• Experience with REST API integration (nice to have).
• Experience in the elaboration of functional specifications.
• Good knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Ability to focus on delivery, without compromising the sustainability of the solutions.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and written.
• Experienced using JIRA and Confluence.
• You have a professional level of English; you can understand and follow meetings with English-speaking interlocutors (minimum B2 - mandatory).
• You have a fluent/native level of French (C1/C2 - mandatory).
