Job Description
Our Dishwashers are essential to contribute to a high-quality Guest satisfaction. They will take care of the highest quality of all the services necessary for the perfect cleanliness of dishware, equipment and tools used to in restaurants and bars to serve Guests and to prepare their food & beverages experience in the events, banqueting, SPA and in the rooms/suites. Our dishwashers’ professionalism is crucial to contribute to raise the standards in all the F&B outlets by operating in an impeccable way.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations and trash compactors.
· Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastages,
· Ensure cleaning activities of all dishware and cutlery, glasses and wash pots, pans and other kitchen utensils according to performance standards.
· Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, constantly checking if any items need to be re-scrubbed and re-washed.
· Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue. Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware.
· Ensure that clean wares are stored in appropriate areas and dispose of glass in the proper containers, following all the quality procedures.
· Wash and disinfect kitchen and other department areas, tables, tools, knives, bins and equipments.
· Support warehouse activities such as receiving deliveries, storing perishables properly and rotating stock.
· Maintain proper storage and use of used chemicals and detergents.
· Breakdown dirty bus tubs and take care of their management according to the garbage schedules.
· Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area.
· Break down cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclables in the recycle bins,
· Assist in carrying out periodical inventory of operating equipment,
· Assist with setup of function requests such as plate orders, etc.
· Follow all Hotel policies, procedures and service standards, including HACCP and health & safety procedures,
· Attend the training courses and meetings.
Perfil do Candidato
· To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all cleaning procedures, use of dish washing machines and the type of chemicals to be used
· To have a clear understanding of the HACCP procedures put in place and their purpose
· Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures
· Good communication skills
· Strong attention to details and organization abilities
· Strong knowledge of the Hotel Restaurants’ quality standards
. Flexibility, adaptability and attitude to work under pressure while ensuring respect of deadlines and required quality level
. Good knowledge of Italian and English
. Legal right to work in Italy.
