• We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist (Dutch Speaker).

Description

• Manage end-to-end collections processes, ensuring timely payment allocation and follow-up on outstanding balances;
• Monitor overdue accounts and proactively contact customers to secure payments and resolve issues;
• Handle customer queries and disputes, ensuring accurate and timely resolution;
• Send payment reminders, account statements, and other collection communications;
• Analyze accounts receivable data and provide insights to support decision-making;
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy;
• Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations) and external stakeholders;
• Support credit risk activities, including customer validation and payment terms review;
• Assist with audits and complex cases when required;
• Monitor performance against KPIs and contribute to achieving cash collection targets;
• Participate in regular debt review meetings and continuous process improvements.

Profile

• Fluency in Dutch and English (mandatory);
• Academic background in Finance, Accounting, or Business (preferred);
• Previous experience in Credit & Collections or O2C processes;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting KPIs;
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively;
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organized;
• Solid knowledge of Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP);
• Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills.
