Your New Role

We are looking for a seasoned Workday Technical Lead to spearhead the development and optimisation of our Workday HCM platform. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in Workday configuration and a deep understanding of HR systems. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration with external partners.
As a technical lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and delivery of Workday solutions, supporting key HR functions such as talent management, compensation, and organisational design. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage vendor relationships will be essential to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday HCM modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Translate HR and business needs into clear, actionable system specifications.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and external vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior *developers* and analysts.
  • Ensure data integrity, system performance, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong communication across departments.
  • Stay current with Workday *updates* and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Need to Succeed 

  • Proven experience with Workday HCM configuration and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, including compensation, talent management, and workforce planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing third-party vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Workday certifications or similar credentials are highly desirable.
