Your new role

We are looking for a Product Owner to lead the evolution of our HR technology landscape, with a focus on Workday. This role bridges the gap between business strategy and system capabilities, translating HR goals into functional solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with HR leaders to understand their needs and guide the development of scalable, user-friendly systems. Rather than performing direct system configuration, you’ll act as a strategic partner — someone who understands how Workday works under the hood but prefers to operate at the intersection of business and technology. You’ll be responsible for shaping solution concepts, validating feasibility, and ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact between HR stakeholders and technical teams, translating strategic needs into system capabilities.
  • Define and prioritise product features and enhancements in Workday, ensuring they support HR processes effectively.
  • Collaborate with COE leaders to gather requirements and propose system-based solutions.
  • Guide external and internal teams in delivering high-quality configurations and integrations.
  • Maintain a product roadmap aligned with HR transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and data governance policies.
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support testing, rollout, and change management activities for new functionalities.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote system adoption and understanding.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Solid understanding of Workday HCM modules and configuration principles.
  • Experience in translating business needs into system requirements.
  • Familiarity with HR processes such as talent management, compensation, and organisational planning.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.
  • Degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field.
  • Certifications on Workday or similar platforms are a plus.
