Mission:
The HR Generalist is a certified professional who handles the daily administrative and human resources duties at an organization. They help human resources managers with recruitment, payroll employee processing, and employee record maintenance. They are responsible for providing clerical support to all employees.
The HR Generalist acts as a strategically by aligning human resources practices with organizational goals, promoting a healthy, inclusive work environment focused on people development and results.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the payroll, onboarding, and offboarding processes are carried out in accordance with UIP Group guidelines.
- Ensure Payroll supervision and implementation.
- Manage the work accident insurance policy and health insurance for employees.
- Establish a close relationship with leadership, understanding the specific needs of business areas and providing consultancy on HR strategies.
- Develop and implement talent management policies and processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, succession planning, and retention.
- Promote initiatives that foster employee well-being, diversity, inclusion, and organizational culture.
- Analyze HR metrics and performance data, providing insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Lead change management processes, ensuring effective communication and employee engagement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of training and skills development plans aligned with organizational needs.
- Manage conflicts and act as a mediator in complex situations, promoting balanced and fair solutions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal regulations, minimizing risks for the organization.
- Under direct supervision, perform a variety of general administrative and office operations support activities.
- Facilitate the internal recruitment process by coordinating internal job requisitions, scheduling interviews and administering the associate internal transfer portal.
- Interpret employee engagement data and recommend action items to deliver results.
- Oversee the time reporting and approval process.
- Archive terminated files, financial records and not hired job applications.
- Responsible for logging contracts in and out of database.
- Copy and distribute letters to employees, payroll and department heads.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Management and related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience in similar roles as an HR.
- Solid understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Good understanding of English and Portuguese (mandatory).
