Join the internal security team of one of the countrys most critical infrastructure organisations as a SOC Analyst.
A direct contract with the final client, embedded in a team where your work has real national impact.
Lisbon Hybrid (3 days on-site)
This is not a high-volume, fast-turnaround environment. Investigations in critical infrastructure take time and the right candidate understands that thoroughness and process rigour matter more than speed.
You will work alongside an external provider responsible for Tier 1 operations, taking full ownership of incident escalation, investigation and response at Tier 2 and Tier 3 level.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle escalated incidents from Tier 1, leading investigation and response at Tier 2 and Tier 3
- Monitor, analyse and respond to security events using SIEM and SOAR platforms
- Develop and improve automation playbooks to enhance detection and response capabilities
- Contribute to threat hunting, root cause analysis and post-incident reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams and external security providers
- Participate in an on-call prevention rotation every 5 weeks this regime begins only after an initial onboarding period of a few months
What Were Looking For
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a SOC or similar cybersecurity operations environment
- Hands-on experience with SIEM and SOAR tools automation knowledge is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of incident response processes and escalation workflows
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field
- Fluent English and Portuguese (both mandatory)
- Ability to work in environments where processes are complex and timelines are long
