We are recruiting a Senior Design Manager for a landmark international project located in the Azores. This is a large-scale technological infrastructure that will challenge your management, innovation and coordination skills.

 

As Senior Design Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the design process from the conception phase to final delivery, ensuring that the project meets all technical, legal and functional requirements.

 

Main responsibilities

• Manage projects from the feasibility study phase to delivery;
• Convert customer requirements into technical and functional solutions;
• Coordinate internal and external multidisciplinary teams;
• Monitor project compatibility and conflict resolution (Clash Detection);
• Lead BIM management and documentation in a CDE (Common Data Environment) environment;
• Support the construction team in equipment installation and commissioning;
• Ensure compliance with deadlines, costs and quality standards.

 

Desired profile

• HNC (Higher National Certificate) or equivalent;
• Minimum 2 years experience in construction projects;
• Proficiency in CAD and BIM tools (Navisworks, Revit, etc.);
• Knowledge and experience in the use of common data environments (CDE);
• Good communication skills, both written and oral;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Experience in the Advanced Industry, Data Centres, Food, Logistics or Pharmaceutical sectors (preferred).
