The company processes around 10% of global retail data, offering native integration with multiple platforms and data warehouses to accelerate implementation. Its mission is to transform complex data into actionable decisions that maximize operational efficiency and profitability.

Your New Role

• Translate strategic objectives into measurable data science outcomes; take full ownership of model quality and business impact metrics.
• Lead end-to-end AI initiatives in close collaboration with Product, Mobile, and Backend teams to deliver data-driven features.
• Design scalable and sustainable analytics solutions that comply with data privacy and regulatory standards.

What You Need to Succeed

• Python & Data Science Stack: Python, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, XGBoost/LightGBM.
• Predictive Modeling & Optimization: Forecasting, classification/regression, clustering/segmentation, optimization-driven decision support.
• Recommendation & Personalization Systems: User behavior modeling, implicit/explicit feedback, ranking algorithms.
• Experimentation & Measurement: A/B testing, causal/impact analysis, model calibration, drift monitoring.
• Data & SQL: Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server), data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Pragmatic MLOps: Model versioning, lightweight model serving (e.g., FastAPI), monitoring and automation.
• Geospatial & Location Data: Proficient in spatial analytics and map-matching; experience with indoor signals (wayfinding/IPS) is a strong plus.
• Language: English (Upper-Intermediate/Advanced or above).
• Soft Skills: Positive and constructive mindset, strong sense of ownership, mentoring ability, and excellent communication skills.

Additional Competencies (Nice-to-Have)

• Familiarity with event/stream processing (e.g., Kafka), gRPC, containers & orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Awareness of edge/on-device optimization and mobile integration challenges.
• Experience integrating with commercial indoor wayfinding/positioning solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and ability to facilitate function-related meetings.
