We're looking for a IT Business Analyst - Porto

Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a dynamic international team working on Capital and Regulatory Reporting systems within a Shared Data Ecosystem.

You will be part of a critical IT domain responsible for collecting, processing, and delivering Accounting and Risk data through centralized data platforms used for regulatory and financial reporting (Capital, IFRS9, FINREP, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, etc.).

Professional Experience & Main Tasks

• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into User Stories
• Analyze data flows and reporting processes related to Finance and Risk
• Design, propose, and implement functional and technical solutions
• Monitor monthly and quarterly closing processes and ensure production stability
• Investigate incidents, provide short-term workarounds, and contribute to long-term fixes
• Produce clear reporting on incidents, activities, and delivery progress
• Participate actively in an Agile environment (ceremonies, backlog prioritization, continuous improvement)
• Provide production support during closing periods (including occasional on-call duties)

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or Economics
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a financial / reporting environment
• Advanced SQL (mandatory)
• Python
• Strong Excel skills
• Solid overall IT knowledge
• Good understanding of banking, finance, and regulatory reporting concepts
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
