As the Director of Food and Beverage (F&B) for our prestigious 5* Hôtel Restaurant in Lisbon, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional culinary experience.

Your mission will be to develop the restaurant as a preferred destination, highlighting both Portuguese and international gastronomy, along with a remarkable selection of wines.

Description

The main responsibilities are:

Marketing and Sales Development:

• Design and implement innovative marketing strategies to position the restaurant as a benchmark in Lisbon;
• Work closely with the teams to maximize revenue and exceed sales targets;
• Create attractive offers to stimulate demand and build customer loyalty.

Animations and Events:

• Develop a calendar of animations and events;
• Collaborate with local partners to organize exclusive events;

Culinary Quality Management:

• Work closely with the chef to maintain very high culinary standards;
• Ensure the consistency of the gastronomic offering;
• Proactively respond to customer feedback to continuously improve the quality of dishes.

Supplier Research and Management:

• Identify and establish partnerships with the best suppliers to guarantee the quality of ingredients;
• Negotiate advantageous contracts while maintaining strong relationships with partners;
• Contribute to the search for new sources of supply to constantly innovate our offerings.

Profile

Job Requirements:

• Academic background in Hospitality is extremely valued;
• Proven experience in F&B management in a high-end restaurant;
• In-depth knowledge of international gastronomy;
• Advanced skills in marketing and sales;
• Ability to create innovative and memorable culinary experiences;
• Excellent event management skills;
• Strong team management and communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to establish successful relationships with suppliers;
• Excellent network of potential influencers and journalist in Lisbon is a plus;
• English (spoken and written) is compulsory; a second language besides portuguese is extremely valued.
