This position is for Stadler Digital Labs, a joint venture between Stadler Rail and Critical Software serving as the digital competence center for the Stadler Group.

Which brings us to you, the person with:

  • Academic background in Engineering or similar (Software, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, etc.).
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in requirements engineering and business analysis for data projects within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Experience designing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders and ability to translate business requirements into Power BI data models and visualizations.
  • Proven skills in data warehouse (DWH) design, development, and optimization using Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and T-SQL.
  • Know-how in ETL process design, data mapping, and integration from multiple heterogenous sources (e.g. SAP, Abacus, Oracle, MariaDB, Postgres, Progress, flat files and others).
  • Experience with data validation, quality assurance, and testing methodologies to ensure reliability and consistency.
  • Hands-on experience in data migration, transformation, automation and scripting using Python and PowerShell).
  • Ability to produce technical and functional documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-departmental support.
  • Fluent in English.
