A global AI driven services organization with multiple hubs across Europe, Asia, and the Americas is undergoing a significant technology transformation. To strengthen financial governance, portfolio transparency, and execution discipline, we are seeking a PMO & IT Finance Manager to support senior technology leadership with structured, data driven insight and financial stewardship.
This role sits at the intersection of Technology, Finance, and Portfolio Management - ideal for someone who combines analytical depth with governance rigor and strong stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full IT budgeting cycle (OPEX & CAPEX), including annual planning, quarterly reforecasting, and scenario updates.
- Monitor and analyse monthly financial performance (actuals vs budget vs forecast), identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure clear visibility of run vs change spending to strengthen transparency across all IT domains.
- Drive portfolio governance for 40 IT initiatives, maintaining structured intake, prioritization, risk tracking, and decision documentation.
- Produce executive-ready reporting, including monthly dashboards, portfolio health views, financial KPIs, and board-level summaries.
- Enhance delivery discipline through structured steering committees, standardized reporting, and consistent methodology application.
- Maintain vendor financial oversight, ensuring transparency across licenses, cloud subscriptions, support contracts, and renewals.
- Act as a central coordination point between Technology, Finance, Procurement, and regional teams, ensuring alignment, accuracy, and timely communication.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in PMO, IT Controlling, Technology Finance, or Project Portfolio Management.
- Demonstrated ownership of IT budgets of €5-10M or greater, with strong OPEX/CAPEX knowledge.
- Advanced financial literacy, including forecasting cycles, variance analysis, ROI/NPV basics, and business case validation.
- Hands-on experience in multi-project or portfolio governance environments.
- Strong tooling capability: Advanced Excel and Power BI required; experience with PPM tools (ServiceNow PPM, Planview, Jira, Clarity, MS Project) is beneficial.
- Strong stakeholder management maturity, with the ability to challenge assumptions and communicate clearly with senior decision-makers.
- Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset, comfortable enforcing process, documentation, and governance discipline.
- Fluency in English, with strong presentation and communication skills suitable for executive audiences.
