We are in constant transformation and looking for a self-motivated, proactive, and flexible Payments Analyst to join our Payments and Treasury team in Lisbon.
What does the Operations area do?
It provides service excellence in operations focusing on client needs. We do this by ensuring best practices of execution on services related to Funds, Cash/Securities Management and Settlements, Payments, Reconciliation, and Control of Credit Operational Business, as well as Account Maintenance documentation.
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Handle all tasks engaged in processing customer wires (outgoing / incoming or account to account);
- Proactively execute Payments and ensure a frictionless and flexible customer journey;
- Support automation of projects and requests;
- Maintain and support core systems, report systems, data updates and workflows;
- Establish close partnerships with all other areas of the Bank, ensuring timely and flawless completion of all requests;
- Support with demands from Regulators, Internal and external Auditors requests;
- Ensure quality services and efficient operations support;
- Compliance with BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations and the Bank's BSA/AML policies and procedures.
What are we looking for?
- Availability to work night shift and/or rotative schedule;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point, Access and Word;
- Fluent in English;
- Attention to details;
- Team player with an open-minded approach towards other cultures and ability to work in an international team;
- Proactive, self-driven and able to help enhance the system and workflow;
- Able to perform in a high-paced environment within tight time frames;
- Experience in Payments is a plus;
- Knowledge of Wires, SWIFT, Fedwire, and Clearing is a plus;
- Fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
