We are seeking a Technician Production Support professional willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in a hybrid model in Lisbon (2x times).


Location: Lisbon



Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Platform Support & Monitoring:
  • Monitor the cash equities execution platform to ensure stability and optimal performance.
  • Enhance and maintain monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve issues.
  • Change Management:
  • Deploy production changes with precision, minimizing disruption and maintaining system integrity.
  • Incident & Problem Management:
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, ensuring detailed root cause analysis and reporting.
  • Work closely with traders, developers, and other teams to implement process improvements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Engage with traders, developers, and IT teams to optimize workflows and system performance.

Technical Skills & Requirements:

  • Core Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong Unix/Linux administration skills.
  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP) and troubleshooting.
  • Scripting (Bash, Python, Perl) and basic programming (C/C++, Java is a plus).
  • SQL proficiency (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, KDB/q).
  • Monitoring & Logging Tools:
  • Log management: Splunk, ELK, Graylog, Loki.
  • Network monitoring: Corvil.
  • Observability: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Messaging & Middleware:
  • Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka.

Language Skills:

  • English (Expert Level) - Required for global team collaboration.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage incidents under pressure.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and fast-paced environments.
  • Proactive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement mindset.

Work Model:

  • Hybrid (2 days per week in Lisbon office).
