Key Responsibilities:

• Formalise the specifications and the engineering plans used to develop the solution /product.
• Assemble the solution/product elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behaviour, interactions and performance, and to confirm that the requirements against which the solution/product has been designed are fulfilled.
• Demonstrate that the solution/product satisfies the overall approved operational needs and that the product data package is ready for release to production, testing, installation and to operation and support.
• Plan and coordinate the subsystem development within the constraints provided by the agreed architecture and design in order to satisfy customer requirements and ensure global design consistency and company rules, processes and business objective.
• Act as the project-wide interface for technical matters in his domain. Ensure subsystem interfaces are defined, consistent, and complete.
• Optimises technical work against costs, schedule and risks from design to validation and acceptance of the solution.
• Provide technical expertise to Design Reviews with internal teams and with the Customer.
• Provide technical expertise for adequate definition of the Operations and Maintenance activities.
• Support onsite installation.
• Perform T&C activities, including, FAT tests, configuration field tests and commissioning on site.
• Support the configuration control and management in conjunction with the configuration manager.
• Prepare subsystem training documentation and give training in his/her domain.
• Capitalize on Lessons Learned.

Required Qualifications:

• Engineer grade, preferably of Electronics Engineering or Control and Automation Engineering
• Experience in CAD Design (advantage)
• Previous and proven experience on telecom design activities (advantage).
• Knowledge in Access Control systems design (advantage)
• Knowledge in SCADA systems design (advantage)
• Experience in CAD Design (advantage)
• Fluent in Portuguese
• English and French (recommended) communication skills
• Teamwork competencies
• Availability to travel and stay abroad for long periods.
