The International Mobility Recruitment Department is dedicated to enhancing the mobility of IT professionals throughout Europe, facilitating the placement of talents in the various markets where it operates.

Position: JAVA DEVELOPER

Location: Lisbon

Hybrid: 2 times a week at the client's office

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Mandatory Languages Required: and English (minimum C1) French (is a plus)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Java Developer to join our team in Lisbon!

You will work on the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable enterprise applications in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications
• Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Write clean, testable code and ensure proper unit testing
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Support integration with various systems and technologies
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong understanding of enterprise software design and development

Tech Stack & Skills Required:

• Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) - JMS, EJB
• Spring Framework - including SpringBoot & SpringBatch
• UML and MVC architecture
• SQL and Hibernate for database interactions
• Java 8/17 - strong experience required
• Unit Testing - using JUnit
• Agile Methodologies
• Maven for build and dependency management
• Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• GitLab - for version control and CI/CD
