Position: Senior Change Manager
Location: Lisbon (Hybrid)
Type: Fulltime, Hybrid from Lisbon (2-3 days onsite per week)
Languages: French (minimum C1) and English (minimum B2)
Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and technically-minded Senior Change Manager with expertise in ITIL to join our team in Lisbon. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading change management initiatives across the organization, ensuring the alignment of IT changes with business objectives and minimizing disruptions to services. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of ITIL methodologies to design, implement, and improve change management processes that promote efficiency and agility.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in change management within an IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and methodologies related to change management.
- Solid understanding of IT systems and technical terminology
- Proven experience in leading change initiatives and managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to write simple, clear documentation for various stakeholders
- Proficiency in French (C1 minimum) and English (B2 minimum
- ITIL certification or related certifications in change management are preferred
- Availability for a hybrid working model, based in Lisbon.
Key Responsabilities:
- Manage and coordinate IT change requests, ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to assess risks, impacts, and dependencies
- Draft clear and concise change documentation
- Work closely with technical teams to understand system architecture and technical constraints
- Evaluate and prioritize change requests from various departments and stakeholders.
- Coordinate change review meetings with relevant IT and business teams.
- Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives, providing updates to senior leadership.
- Assess potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure minimal impact on services.
