IT Operations Technician

Location: Lisbon

Shifts: 8:00-16:00 or 16:00-00:00 (2 shifts, 24/7 coverage)

About the Role

Join our Global Command Center team as a IT Operations Technician, where you will play a key role in monitoring and supporting critical IT operations. You'll oversee the execution of the batch processing plan, handle system alerts, and ensure business continuity by following operational procedures and resolving incidents.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitor the execution of batch jobs using Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)
• Process and escalate system errors and alerts following predefined instructions
• Navigate Unix/Linux systems to read logs and verify system statuses
• Collaborate with IT teams and external partners to resolve operational issues
• Document issues and resolutions using Jira or ServiceNow ticketing tools

Your Skills & Competencies:

Basic Linux/Unix user skills (reading logs, navigating directories)

Familiarity with Tivoli Dynamic Workload Console (TWS)

Basic shell scripting knowledge

Experience with IT ticketing tools like Jira or ServiceNow

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow operational guidelines

Proficiency in English (mandatory)

Interaction:

• Collaborate with IT teams and production units
• Limited direct interaction with business stakeholders
