Invesment Associate at APEX - Join our Growth & Private Equity investment team!

We are looking for an amazing person, passionate about sports and finance, to join our growth and private equity team full-time and support us to source and invest in the most promising opportunities within this ecosystem.

APEX is an investment company that invests with professional athletes in the sports, media, and entertainment industries.

We are positioned as a strategic investor in this space, focused on minority ownership in premium sports assets.

Our vision is to bridge the gap between athletes and the investment world, disrupting this space by turning athletes into powerful and active entrepreneurs.

What will you do as an Associate?

• Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis and modeling to support the deal team in executing transactions
• Deal flow management: Preparing investment memos, presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Due diligence: Participating in due diligence processes and assisting in the drafting of transaction documents
• Market research: Research and analyze markets, industries, and emerging trends to help inform APEX's investment decisions.
• Relationship Building: Interacting with co-investors and other stakeholders in the deal process

What are we looking for?

• A master's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in private equity
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong Proficiency in IT tools such as Gsuite and MS Office.
• Passion for sports, media and entertainment.
• Fluency in both English, with additional language skills being a plus.
