Descrição da Função

Adecco Recruitment is looking for an Industrial Controller Manager for a multinational client in the industrial sector, who will be responsible for coordinating financial and industrial controlling activities in Portugal and Spain, ensuring financial rigor, operational efficiency, compliance, and effective team leadership within a highly structured multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the financial planning process, including budgets, forecasts, and financial models, ensuring consolidation of information at legal entity level (P&L and Balance Sheet).
  • Analyze financial and industrial performance, monitoring deviations, trends, and key performance indicators, contributing to continuous improvement of results.
  • Ensure the Month End Close (MEC) and monthly financial reporting, guaranteeing accurate, timely information in line with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Implement and monitor internal control systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and SOX requirements, as well as the identification and mitigation of financial risks.
  • Coordinate internal audits and follow up on the implementation of recommendations.
  • Oversee cost control and optimization initiatives, promoting financial efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Monitor treasury management, cash flow, and banking relationships, ensuring the efficient use of financial resources.
  • Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring financial discipline and visibility over cash movements.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the controlling team, promoting effective delegation, balanced workload management, adherence to deadlines, and a collaborative, performance-driven work environment.

Profile

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in Controlling and Financial functions, preferably in an industrial and/or multinational environment.
  • University degree in Economics, Management, or a related field.
  • Fluent English (mandatory);
  • Strong analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Solid leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High standards of integrity, resilience, and reliability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Proven experience with SAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
