A multinational company specialised in the production of plastic components for the automotive industry is looking to strengthen its team by hiring an Indirect Buyer (m/f/d) for its site in Porto.
A sua nova função
Reporting to the Purchasing department and working closely with Central Purchasing, you will be responsible for managing indirect procurement activities (services, MRO, CAPEX, logistics, IT, facilities, etc.), ensuring cost optimization, supplier performance, and compliance with group purchasing strategies.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Define and implement indirect purchasing processes and procedures;
- Develop and execute savings and cost-reduction plans;
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, framework agreements, and service contracts;
- Maintain and update the supplier panel and supplier database;
- Optimize total cost of ownership in indirect purchasing categories;
- Implement continuous improvement actions to optimize suppliers, services, and processes.
O que necessita para ser bem sucedido
- University degree in a relevant field (Business, Management, Engineering, Logistics, or similar);
- Solid knowledge and experience in Indirect Purchasing, and Negotiation techniques;
- Fluency in English (mandatory);
- SAP knowledge is considered an advantage.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- High level of flexibility and adaptability to change;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Motivation, dynamism, and proactive attitude.
