The Group FP&A and Business Analyst will organise and coordinate the Group financial reporting (Actuals, Forecasts, Budget) to ensure that processes, systems, and financial reports are aligned with the Group's needs.
Description
- Develop, maintain, and enhance advanced Excel-based reporting templates and financial models to support the entire FP&A reporting cycle - Power Query, dynamic data structures, VBA/macros, multi-source data modelling, live system connectivity, complex formulas logic, and template governance.
- Own and develop Group Power BI dashboards - including data model design, DAX measures and calculations, Power Query transformations, report layout and UX, and scheduled refresh management and maintenance.
- Ensure data integrity by performing controls and reconciliations across multiple Group Systems and data sources, identifying and resolving discrepancies to deliver accurate financial information to key stakeholders.
- Serve as the FP&A subject matter expert in system-related projects, collecting business requirements, leading or supporting design and UAT, and contributing to deployment.
- Identify and implement reporting efficiencies through automation, improving data reliability across the FP&A cycle.
- Act as a bridge between the Group's Finance community and the Finance Systems team.
Profile
- Solid educational background (Master's degree) in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 3 - 5 years' experience, with a strong mix of FP&A and Finance Systems/BI work.
- Prior exposure to finance system implementation, migration, or optimization projects is highly valued.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI or equivalent. Experience with Essbase, HFM, Tagetik is preferred.
- Strong aptitude and interest in financial systems, reporting and modelling - as a power user and builder.
- Ability to sustain high accuracy and attention to detail with problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to drive initiatives and collaborate across teams.
- Strong project ownership.
- Highly self-motivated, with strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Ability to work diligently and effectively with all levels within the organization.
- Clear and concise communication skills in a highly multicultural environment.
