You will be joining an international organization operating in a global shared services environment, supporting finance transformation and process excellence across multiple locations. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders worldwide, contributing to strategic projects and the continuous improvement of financial processes.
Your New Role
Global Process Expert | General Ledger & Fixed Assets, you will act as a subject matter expert within the General Ledger and Fixed Assets area, supporting finance operations and transformation initiatives on a global scale.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the go-to expert for General Ledger and Fixed Assets processes within the global finance organization
- Leading and supporting ERP migration projects from a finance perspective, including process design, testing, harmonization, and deployment
- Defining, documenting, and optimizing finance processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with business requirements
- Developing and maintaining finance guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Serving as a key liaison between Finance, IT, and external implementation partners
- Translating business requirements into effective system and process solutions
- Performing business analysis activities to support projects and process improvements
- Identifying automation opportunities and driving digital transformation initiatives
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts across finance operations and systems
- Collaborating with international stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation and process standardization
What You Need to Be Successful
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Proven hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects, with active responsibility in implementation and delivery
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and wider accounting processes
- Experience in process design, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of SAP Finance modules and their application across business processes
- Ability to translate complex business needs into practical system and process solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience facilitating alignment across cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
