A global industrial company is expanding its Global Business Services (GBS) operations and establishing a regional GBS satellite in Portugal to support Europe operations. This centre plays a strategic role within a hub-and-spoke model alongside the global hub in India and satellite operations in Asia.

Your new role:
We are seeking a dynamic GBS Integration & Change Manager – Finance Streams to lead finance process transitions and transformation initiatives within our Global Business Services organization. This role is central to driving smooth integrations, implementing effective change management strategies, and optimizing end-to-end finance operations such as Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Order to Cash (O2C).
You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, IT, and other corporate functions to deliver seamless process migrations and enable long-term operational excellence.
Your responsabilities will include: - Lead end-to-end integration and transition projects for finance processes into the GBS operating model.
- Develop and execute detailed integration plans covering scoping, design, testing, change management, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
- Design and deliver change management strategies, including communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Build strong relationships with leaders across the organization, acting as a trusted advisor during transformation initiatives.
- Monitor adoption progress, address resistance, and ensure sustainable behavioral change.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables to meet business objectives.
- Apply governance frameworks and track performance using KPIs and dashboards.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve issues proactively
- Evaluate current finance processes to identify standardization and automation opportunities.
- Partner with process owners to implement technology solutions such as ERP enhancements, RPA, and workflow tools.
- Establish feedback loops and performance metrics to sustain improvements post-integration.
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- 5–10 years’ experience in integration, transition, or change management within GBS, shared services, or finance transformation.
- Strong understanding of finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) and internal controls.
- Proven project management expertise (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and process automation tools.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure in fast-changing environments.
