A well-established financial institution in the banking sector is looking to integrate a Frontend Developer into its technology team. The successful candidate will work on the institution's digital platforms, covering both the public website and the private customer area, two channels with high visibility and direct impact on the customer experience.
About the Role
You will join a small and experienced frontend team, working alongside a senior developer on the evolution of the institution's digital channels. The public website is built primarily on HTML and JavaScript and is undergoing a transition to Node.js, with the possibility of introducing React components. The private customer area is fully developed in Blazor, where the business logic is handled by the development team and your focus will be on building and refining the frontend layer: developing responsive controls, simulators, tables and interactive components, and improving the visual presentation and styling (CSS) of existing pages. This is a hands-on programming role with a strong frontend component, where an eye for design and usability is valued, but the core of the position is writing code. There is also room to bring ideas and propose improvements to the look and feel of the platforms.
Key Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent. Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Hands-on experience with Blazor or strong motivation to work with it within the .NET ecosystem. Familiarity with React and/or Node.js is a plus. Good design sensibility applied to frontend development (styling, visual consistency, user experience), without requiring a design or marketing background. Team spirit and willingness to learn and grow within an established structure. Good level of English (spoken and written).
