A well-established software company specialising in hospitality management solutions is looking to integrate a Frontend Developer (Angular / TypeScript) into its development team in Lisbon. The company develops its own product suite used internationally by hotels and tourism operators, and is currently investing in an ambitious AI programme, making this a unique opportunity to combine product development with hands-on exposure to applied AI.
About the Role
You will join the team responsible for the company's flagship Property Management System (PMS), the core front-office software for hotel management, working on features that combine accessible functionality with complex business logic. Your focus will be frontend development in Angular and TypeScript, and you will also play a key part in the company's AI initiative: writing reusable automated tests in Playwright that feed and train an internal model, contributing to a RAG system built on the product's documentation, and later supporting AI-powered features in the user-facing side of the software. This is a role with a clear evolution path, starting in frontend development and growing towards test automation, integrations and AI-related work.
Key Requirements
Around 2 years of professional experience in frontend development. Solid hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript, with comfort working across both. Experience with or strong motivation to work with Playwright for automated testing. Interest in AI topics such as RAG and test automation applied to real products. Degree in Computer Engineering or similar is preferred. Good level of English (spoken and written). A positive attitude and team spirit, in line with the company's collaborative culture.
