MAN Truck & Bus, a leading European commercial vehicle manufacturer and part of the TRATON Group, is launching a new Global Business Services (GBS) organization structured around three core pillars: Operations, Global Process Ownership, and Strategy & Performance Management.

Your Role

As ESG Process Manager, your mission is to design and run end to end ESG processes: scalable, system supported, audit ready, and as automated as possible.

You will look at how ESG information flows through the organization today, understand the underlying processes and systems, and redesign them to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and enable reliable reporting. In doing so, you will sit at the intersection of ESG, process management, IT, and reporting, enabling reliable ESG insights and supporting strategic decision making across the Group.

Your responsibilities

• Design and optimize ESG processes to ensure efficient, structured, and compliant data collection, processing, and reporting across all entities.
• Collaborate with ESG Data and Reporting Specialists to maintain high data quality, consistency, and audit readiness.
• Support internal and external ESG audits by ensuring all processes are transparent, documented, and fully compliant.
• Drive digitalization and automation of ESG processes using innovative technologies, including AI and robotics.
• Contribute to building a group-wide ESG IT landscape for scalable, efficient, and future-proof data handling and reporting.
• Translate regulatory requirements into workflows supported by systems and ensure smooth integration into ESG processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Strategy, Legal, Production, Sales, Procurement, and HR to align ESG processes with operational and strategic goals.

Your profile

Education & Professional Experience

• University degree in Sustainability Management, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in process management, sustainability/ESG, finance, reporting, analytics, or consulting, ideally with an end to end perspective.
• Experience in industrial environments, auditing, or management consulting is a plus.

Process, ESG & Digital Focus

• Passionate about ESG frameworks and sustainability regulations (e.g. CSRD, EU Taxonomy) and motivated to apply them in process and system design.
• Good understanding of how complex organizations operate, including information flows, core processes, and reporting structures.
• Strong analytical thinking and process oriented mindset, with a focus on efficiency, data quality, and continuous improvement.
• Keen to work on AI and emerging technologies, with curiosity about how they can be applied to real ESG and reporting challenges.

Tools & Systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power Tools.
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or SAP BW is a plus.

• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
