Senior DevOps Engineer

Porto - Full Time/Permanent

Hybrid (1 day per week in the office, 4 days remotely)

Our client is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to enhance their internal development tooling and cloud infrastructure. The role involves managing and evolving platforms powered by tools like GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, and Amazon Q, all within an AWS environment. You'll serve as a key enabler for product teams-supporting CI/CD adoption, Infrastructure as Code practices (via AWS CDK or CloudFormation), and platform automation to improve efficiency, security, and scalability. A strong focus on observability, monitoring, and alerting is essential.

To thrive in this position, candidates should bring proven experience in DevOps or a similar role, with deep expertise in AWS (IaaS, PaaS), CI/CD tooling, and Linux-based environments. Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash is a must, particularly for automating deployments and infrastructure tasks. Familiarity with modern observability tools (logging, APM, monitoring) and clear communication in English-both written and verbal-are critical for collaborating across teams and stakeholders.
