Your new Role
The Data Analyst – Operations transforms complex Datasets into clear, actionable insights that support decision making across the organization. Working within a Matrix structure and closely aligned with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Manufacturing functions, this person partners with business stakeholders to understand priorities, interpret operational Data, and deliver high-quality analysis, reporting, dashboards, and presentations.
This person reports to the Business Data Manager, and will collaborate closely with Operations stakeholders, Business Leaders, Technical Specialists, and Data Governance teams to support operational performance management, improve reporting capabilities, and strengthen Data-driven decision making across the business.
The Data Analyst – Operations will:
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics stakeholders to understand business priorities and deliver Data-driven insights that support operational and strategic decision-making;
- Produce and support operational reporting and performance analysis across Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory, and Demand Planning functions, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and deviations from plan;
- Support functional performance cycles (including manufacturing reviews, procurement analysis, demand consensus, supply reviews, OTIF, backorders, SLA performance, inventory reporting, and other business-critical reporting activities);
- Manage operational Master Data, ensuring accurate creation, maintenance, validation, archiving, and compliance with Data governance standards across suppliers, raw materials, inventory, and Supply Chain Data;
- Act as a subject matter expert for operational reporting tools and solutions (including OTIF reporting and Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations);
- Perform analysis on suppliers, raw materials, production, transport, inventory, logistics, and Supply Chain alternatives to support business optimization and decision-making;
- Support SKU lifecycle management, portfolio rationalization, and product deprecation activities in collaboration with Supply Chain and Strategic Marketing teams;
- Promote self-service reporting capabilities through training, user support, and best-practice guidance while driving improvements in Data quality, analytical capabilities, reporting processes, and business tools;
- Support operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives focused on process standardization, automation, inventory optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
A typical day will include analyzing operational performance, maintaining dashboards, producing manufacturing, procurement, and Supply Chain reports, supporting inventory and demand planning activities, validating Data quality, supporting operational users, and delivering insights that support key business decisions.
Please consider that this role requires availability for occasional travel to other company sites, approximately once per year.
What you will need to succeed
As a Data Analyst – Operations, you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or another analytical, or business-related field;
- +3 years of experience within an International Manufacturing or Industrial environment;
- +3 years of experience in analytical or support roles within Sales, Commercial, or related business functions;
- Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and Data visualizations that deliver actionable business insights;
- Experience working within Matrix Organizations and collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams (would be a plus);
- Experience supporting Manufacturing reporting, Procurement analysis, Supply Chain performance monitoring, logistics reporting, inventory management, and demand planning;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills (including advanced Data collection, cleansing, validation, and reporting capabilities);
- Advanced Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions, and graphs);
- Experience with project management tools;
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, and SharePoint management (would be a plus);
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced international environment;
- Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English.
