Your new Role

The Data Analyst – Commercial transforms complex Datasets into clear, actionable insights that support decision making across the organization. Working within a Matrix structure and closely aligned with the Commercial function, this person partners with business stakeholders to understand priorities, interpret commercial Data, and deliver high-quality analysis, reporting, dashboards, and presentations.

This person reports to the Business Data Manager, and will collaborate closely with Commercial stakeholders, Business Leaders, Technical Specialists, and Data Governance teams to support performance cycles, improve reporting capabilities, and strengthen data-driven decision making across the business.

The Data Analyst – Commercial will:
  • Partner with Commercial stakeholders to understand business priorities and deliver Data-driven insights that support operational and strategic decision-making;
  • Produce accurate and timely management reporting, analyzing commercial performance and identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and deviations from plan;
  • Support functional performance cycles (including sales pipeline reviews, demand planning, SKU rationalization activities, and sales forecasting);
  • Execute and support Data creation, updates, clean-up, archiving, and deletion activities related to customer Data, pricing, rebates, discounts, commissions, sales areas, and commercial taxonomies;
  • Ensure commercial Data is accurate and consistent across business systems, validating and preparing Datasets in line with Data governance standards;
  • Act as a subject matter expert in SalesForce, providing user support, training, guidance, and continuous improvement recommendations;
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to improve visibility of commercial performance and decision-making;
  • Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and commercial insights for sales meetings, customer reviews, and other business reviews;
  • Prepare reports linking SalesForce and Sales Data and support updates of R&D/NBO pipeline information for internal and external communications;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve Data quality, analytical capabilities, reporting processes, and business tools;

A typical day will include analyzing commercial performance, maintaining dashboards, supporting sales and demand planning activities, attending sales meetings, validating Data quality, supporting SalesForce users, and delivering insights that support key business decisions.

Please consider that this role requires availability for occasional travel to other company sites, approximately once per year.


What you will need to succeed

As a Data Analyst – Commercial, you will need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or another analytical or business-related field;
  • +3 years of experience within an International Manufacturing or Industrial environment;
  • +3 years of experience in analytical or support roles within Sales, Commercial, or related business functions;
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and Data visualizations that deliver actionable business insights;
  • Experience supporting demand planning, sales performance reviews, pipeline analysis, customer Data management, pricing, and commercial reporting;
  • Advanced Data collection, cleansing, validation, and reporting skills;
  • Experience working within Matrix Organizations and collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams (would be a plus);
  • Advanced Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions, and graphs);
  • Experience with project management tools;
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, and SharePoint management (would be a plus);
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced international environment;
  • Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English.
