About the job:
For our fast growing Automotive division in Castanheira do Ribatejo, Portugal at the earliest possible date we are looking for a: Customer Support.
What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?
- Provide structured operational and administrative support to the Customer Support function, ensuring continuity, accuracy, and efficiency in day to day operations.
- Manage and support key retail customer accounts, acting as a primary point of contact for operational matters and ensuring service levels, data accuracy, and timely issue resolution.
- Coordinate and proactively manage transport related incidents and preparation issues in close collaboration with the logistics partner in Spain, ensuring clear communication, root cause follow up, and service recovery where required.
- Oversee and coordinate customer scrap collection processes in Portugal, liaising with customers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, efficiency, and timely execution.
- Maintain accurate operational tracking and documentation, ensuring alignment with internal procedures and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service and logistics processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Support cross functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless end to end customer operations.
What we ask for:
- Technical qualification in Management, Sales, Logistics or similar.
- Good knowledge and management of Excel spreadsheets and Office tools.
- Proficiency in English and comfort with digital platforms and tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
What we also value:
- A good understanding of Spanish will be regarded as a plus.
- Some experience in managing customer incidents or solving customer's issues.
