Details - Hospitality, Sports, Leisure is the platform responsible for managing the Hospitality, Sports, and Leisure areas of Arrow Global in Portugal. It oversees the management of major hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira, Aroeira, and Madeira, as well as golf courses and equestrian centers.
The Corporate Director of F&B, who reports directly to the CEOs, is responsible for spearheading all F&B development initiatives across the diverse portfolio of assets managed by Details. This includes overseeing projects in hotels, clubhouses, standalone units, special events, retail locations, and centralized food production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an F&B strategic masterplan aligned with the company's vision and goals.
- Drive innovation in F&B concepts, menu design and service offerings across all venues and channels.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the F&B sector.
- Manage third party F&B tenants
Operational Management:
- Coordinate activities between hotels, clubhouses, events, and the central kitchen to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Explore White label kitchen program / delivery / home chef program for members
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets for all F&B operations, monitoring and maximizing profitability.
- Analyze financial data to drive cost-effective operations and identify growth strategies.
- Implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue across all outlets.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing F&B team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence within the team.
- Lead by example in ensuring superior customer service throughout F&B operations.
- Maintain high standards of quality in food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Stay updated with industry trends, integrating innovative ideas into the F&B offerings.
- Utilize customer feedback to continuously improve service and product offerings.
- Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring they meet clients' specifications and company standards.
- Collaborate with event planners and other departments to deliver successful events.
- Oversee central kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food preparation.
- Implement systems for quality control and inventory management within the central kitchen.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and third-party retail partners.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote F&B offers.
- Increase operational purchasing synergy across the entire platform with strategic brand partnerships
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field.
- Extensive experience in managing multi-channel F&B operations within hospitality in different geographies
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in team management.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience in budgeting and revenue optimization.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using F&B management software and tools.
