Your new role:
• Design and evolve virtualization architectures for on-premises cloud environments
• Define and maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies
• Evaluate and technically validate new hypervisor technologies and infrastructure solutions
• Identify opportunities for platform modernization and functional renewal
• Develop technical standards and support technology partner selection processes (RFI/RFP)
• Technically assess and validate new vendors and solutions
• Manage logical capacity planning across on-premises cloud platforms
• Support software licensing planning and budgeting activities
• Provide technical oversight for infrastructure initiatives and contribute to complex problem resolution
What You Need to Succeed:
• 5+ years of experience in virtualization, cloud infrastructure, or systems architecture roles
• Strong knowledge of on-premises cloud architectures and infrastructure design
• Proven experience with VMware vSphere solution architecture
• Experience in technical project oversight and vendor management
• Solid knowledge of operating system administration (RHEL-based Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows Server)
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components, including servers, storage, switching, and TCP/IP networking
• Ability to investigate new technologies and evaluate their applicability to business needs
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of KVM and Kubernetes architecture
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python
• Familiarity with automation tools including Terraform and Ansible
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation
