Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Engineer / Application Security Specialist to support enterprise-wide application security and vulnerability management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability management activities using DAST, SAST, SCA, WAS, and BITSIGHT
• Execute and assess security scans, qualifying vulnerabilities from multiple sources
• Review and interpret penetration testing reports and support remediation planning
• Collaborate with development teams to mitigate application security risks
• Support Secure SDLC implementation and security control deployment
• Track remediation plans and contribute to security reporting/governance
• Promote secure coding awareness and AppSec best practices

Technical Skills

• Experience with AppSec / Vulnerability Management tools (Qualys, Fortify, Nexus IQ, etc.)
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding principles
• Ability to analyse pentest reports and technical security findings
• Python scripting / automation skills
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and modern development environments
• Development knowledge in Java, Angular, REST APIs, or similar

To qualify for the role

• Experience in project planning and costing.
• Knowledge about system enhancements.
• Strong client communication skills.

Nice to have

• 2+ years in Cyber Security / IT Risk / Application Security
• Security certifications are a plus (CISSP, CEH, CISA, CISM, etc.)
