We are looking for a Global Buyer to join the Purchasing Department of an industrial company based in Porto. This professional will be responsible for managing global purchasing processes, ensuring efficiency and cost optimization.

Principais responsabilidades

• Manage and negotiate contracts with international suppliers;
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and optimization of purchasing processes;
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company requirements;
• Coordinate the logistics of material supply on a global scale;
• Analyze market trends and identify new suppliers or alternative materials;
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with supply needs.

Perfil desejado

A successful Global Buyer should have:

• A degree in Chemical Engineering; Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Science
• Fluency in English (mandatory);
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing roles, preferably in the industrial sector;
• Knowledge of international markets and global negotiation practices;
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
