The position combines strategic brand management with hands-on trade marketing execution, working in close partnership with Sales, Regional Marketing and cross-functional teams.

We are recruiting a Brand & Trade Marketing Manager for a leading multinational consumer goods company. This role will take ownership of a key product portfolio, ensuring growth, profitability and brand visibility across all consumer and shopper touchpoints. The position combines strategic brand management with hands-on trade marketing execution, working in close partnership with Sales, Regional Marketing and cross-functional teams.

Description

  • Manage the full product portfolio (existing and new launches), including commercialization, market performance tracking and go-to-market plans;
  • Develop and implement product and pricing strategies aligned with Regional and Global Marketing guidelines;
  • Analyse market data, consumer insights and competitive dynamics to ensure effective portfolio positioning and identify opportunities for growth;
  • Provide continuous feedback to Regional and Global teams based on market learnings;
  • Recommend and execute go-to-market actions including assortment, pricing and merchandising strategies (in-store and online);
  • Develop trade and shopper marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and support sales growth;
  • Build compelling customer selling stories and support customer line reviews to drive distribution, awareness and trial;
  • Orchestrate the digital customer journey across Paid, Owned, Shared and Earned channels, ensuring conversion and KPI delivery (with the help of an agency);

Profile

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; MBA is a plus;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist marketing role, ideally within FMCG;
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners;
  • Strong background in digital marketing, media management and SEO;
  • Solid understanding of market tools (IRI/Nielsen) and analytics;
  • Knowledge of P&L, KPIs, brand management and category management;
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking;
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in matrix environments;
  • Negotiation skills and strong stakeholder management;
  • Team player with high levels of autonomy, organisation and attention to detail.
