The Customer Order Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality service in the life science industry.
Description
Order Management: Accurately entering and verifying customer orders within the SAP/ERP system.
Customer Interaction: Confirming orders, providing status updates, and handling inquiries regarding product availability and shipments.
Logistics & Claims: Managing the reception and resolution of logistic claims and coordinating directly with carriers.
Operational Coordination: Monitoring IDOCs, analysing backorders, and managing supply "bottlenecks" in coordination with Spanish planning and warehouse teams.
Process Improvement: Assisting in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and identifying ways to enhance efficiency through digital tools like EDI and Webshops.
Cross-Functional Support: Working with Tender Coordinators and Credit Management to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
Profile
University degree
Prior experience in order entry, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in SAP is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of Excel and CRM system and Google suite
Must be fluent in Portuguese with a good command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Spanish is a preferred asset.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
A strong sense of urgency and a focus on meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Sound decision-making skills and the ability to resolve logistics issues effectively.
Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage complex backorders and coordination tasks.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trustful relationships with colleagues and external partners and customers.
