Mission

As an Architecture Trainee at United Investments Portugal - Construction & Project Management, SA, you will support the architectural team in the development of innovative and high-quality projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in architectural design, project management, and sustainable development, contributing to the company's vision of excellence in hospitality and real estate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs, drawings, and 3D models using standard software.
• Support the team in project planning, including feasibility studies, preliminary design concepts, and construction documentation.
• Develop detailed architectural plans, sections, elevations, and technical drawings.
• Conduct research on building materials, innovative construction techniques, and sustainability practices.
• Participate in site visits and inspections, documenting progress and identifying potential design or construction issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and contractors, to ensure design cohesion and feasibility.
• Assist in preparing reports, design presentations, and proposals for internal and client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and company standards.
• Contribute to the development of conceptual design strategies and innovative architectural solutions.
• Support the team in 3D visualization, renderings, and digital presentations to enhance project communication.
• Assist in managing documentation and project coordination, ensuring smooth workflow between design phases.

Key Requirements

• Final degree certification.
• Eligibility for the entry-level Internship for the Order of Architects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Accommodation in the Algarve.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
