Your new role
As an Atlassian Technical Architect / Administrator, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving a secure, scalable, and reliable Atlassian platform environment, ensuring alignment with both business and technical requirements.

• Platform Management: Build and maintain a robust Atlassian Cloud ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management), ensuring high availability and performance.
• Architecture & Design: Define and implement the future architecture and toolchain of the Atlassian platform.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation solutions using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Technical Guidance: Support stakeholders and key users, providing technical expertise on incidents, requests, and platform improvements.
• Integrations & APIs: Work with Atlassian APIs and third-party integrations to enhance platform capabilities.
• Vendor Management: Ensure quality assurance of external service providers, including support and infrastructure services.
• Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve complex technical, performance, and security-related issues.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and structured documentation of architecture, configurations, processes, and changes.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in platform security, stability, reliability, and user experience.
• Innovation & Updates: Stay up to date with Atlassian product developments and introduce new features where relevant.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience;
• Proven experience as an Atlassian Administrator, Technical Architect, or in a similar role;
• Strong hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management);
• Solid understanding of Atlassian architecture, configuration, and workflows;
• Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell);
• Familiarity with Atlassian APIs and system integrations;
• Knowledge of platform architecture and cloud-based environments;
• Understanding of identity and access management and security best practices;
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex cloud environments;
• Good knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management processes;
• Experience working with external providers and ensuring service quality;
• Ability to challenge requirements, prioritize effectively, and maintain standards;
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills;
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms;
• Experience in large-scale, international enterprise environments;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies;
• Atlassian certifications;
• Additional experience in automation or platform optimization.
