Your New Role
As an AI Program Manager, you will lead the organisation's Artificial Intelligence and Automation transformation journey, ensuring that AI initiatives are aligned with strategic business priorities and deliver measurable value across multiple functions.
You will be responsible for driving AI governance, shaping adoption strategies, coordinating innovation initiatives, and overseeing the successful delivery of AI-driven use cases throughout the organisation. Acting as a trusted partner to both business and technology stakeholders, you will help establish a structured and scalable approach to AI implementation while promoting responsible and compliant usage of emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the organisation's AI strategy and governance framework.
- Ensure alignment between AI initiatives, business objectives, and long-term innovation goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritise AI opportunities across multiple departments.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to uncover high-impact use cases.
- Develop and maintain AI roadmaps tailored to business needs and future growth opportunities.
- Act as the central coordination point for AI programmes, ensuring visibility and alignment across stakeholders.
- Lead enterprise-wide change management initiatives to support AI adoption and user engagement.
- Monitor programme performance through KPIs and executive reporting.
- Promote the effective use of AI-enabled productivity tools and automation platforms.
- Stay informed about emerging AI technologies, market trends, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and responsible AI principles, including evolving AI governance requirements.
- Drive collaboration between business units, technology teams, and external partners to maximise programme success.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience managing programmes or projects within digital transformation, technology, innovation, or AI-related environments.
- Proven experience defining governance structures and operating models.
- Strong background in organisational change management and user adoption initiatives.
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps and managing complex stakeholder ecosystems.
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, automation technologies, and enterprise AI solutions.
- Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or similar AI-enabled business technologies would be advantageous.
- Awareness of current AI regulatory requirements and governance considerations, including the EU AI Act.
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at multiple organisational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluency in both Portuguese and English.
