We are looking for an experienced waiter with a passion for service and  a desire to provide our guests with a great experience. An all round function that includes both mise en place and set up, all the way to service and closing activities in one of our outlets.

Key responsibilities:

- Proper table setting according to Vila Joya standards

- Handling of fine china, silverware, and glassware and any table decoration with care

- Mise en place organisation and anticipation 

- Develop a strong understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation techniques and wine pairings

- Serving and clearing techniques for multi-course meals in a fine dining setting

- Maintain a clean and orderly dining area throughout service

- Handling special requests, dietary requests & adaptations

- Professional guest communication and body language

- Provide attentive and discreet service

Perfil do Candidato

- Proven professional experience in high-profile restaurants or similar hospitality settings for at least 1 year; 

- Fluency in written and spoken in 2 languages: English and as a second one either Portuguese or German. Proficiency in any other language is an asset;

- A humble, positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude towards guests and colleagues;

- Ability to work under pressure and have strong organizational skills

- Adaptable and capable of integrating into a diverse team;

- Availability and flexibility;

- Valid documentation to work in Portugal.  Do note that we do not support Visa applications for this funtion.
