Role Overview:

We are looking for a Virtualization Consultant (Mid-Junior) to integrate one of our Nearshore Teams working for clients in the Netherlands and other European countries. You will be supporting the operational migration of enterprise workloads from VMware environments (and others) to Red Hat OpenShift. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be a technically proficient professional that thrives in infrastructure transformation projects and is passionate about containerization, automation, and cloud-native technologies.

What you will do:

• Execute end-to-end migration of virtualized workloads to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform;
• Perform detailed assessments of existing environments to identify migration candidates and dependencies;
• Collaborate with platform engineering, DevOps, and application teams to ensure seamless workload transitions;
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues during and after migration, ensuring minimal downtime and performance impact;
• Implement and optimize OpenShift clusters for scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Support day-to-day operations of OpenShift environments, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.

What you are like:

• Experience in Operating system administration (Windows, Linux, or others);
• Familiarity with VMware tools (vSphere, vCenter) and virtual machine concepts;
• Understanding of virtualization and basic networking/storage;
• Willingness to learn container and OpenShift basics on the job;
• Previous experience supporting infrastructure migration projects;
• Troubleshooting mindset and ability to support multiple workstreams;
• Strong teamwork and ability to follow structured technical instructions.
