Your New Role
This is a full-time, on-site position for a UX/UI Designer based in Lisbon. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating user-centric designs that improve the usability and functionality of our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into intuitive and engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both user interface design and user research, focusing on delivering seamless and innovative user interactions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to understand customer needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements.
- Perform usability testing and analyze user feedback to refine and enhance designs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Develop user journey maps, personas, and interaction flows to guide the design process.
- Stay up-to-date with UX trends, best practices, and design tools.
- Advocate for user-centered design across the organization.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user research, wireframes, and final designs.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS) is a plus.
- Prior experience in insurtech, fintech, or marketplaces is preferred.
